ABOUT
Ali is a senior lecturer in Sports Science at Faculty of Sports Science and Coaching, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Perak, Malaysia. Borned on 19th February 1990, Ali started to learn sports science when he pursued Diploma in Sports Studies at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Arau in 2008. He then pursued Bachelor of Sports Science (Honours) and Master of Sports Science at UiTM Shah Alam. In 2014, Ali went to UPSI to continue his sports science academic journey by pursuing Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Sport Coaching. In 2015, Ali started his academic works by becoming a lecturer at the Faculty of Sports Science and Coaching, UPSI. After completing his PhD in 2017, Ali was then appointed as Senior Lecturer. In UPSI, Ali currently teaching several courses including Sports Biomechanics, Kinesiology and Strength and Conditioning. His research interest includes; i) kinematics, kinetics and muscle activation during exercise, ii) acute responses and chronic adaptation of resistance training and iii) movement analysis during combat sports.
